Rafał Kucharski

I am an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland) with the Group of Machine Learning Research GMUM. I run the ERC Starting Grant COeXISTENCE where I bridge between ML and transportation - we simulate how intelligent machines compete with humans for limited urban resources (space) and what can we expect as well as the NCN Opus Grant on Shared Mobility in the pandemic times. I am also involved in Horizon Europe project, SUM.

I'm a Computer Engineer with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence. I am from a lovely city called Eskişehir in Türkiye. My journey in this field began at Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. After completing my Bachelor's degree, I spent two years in Italy, pursuing a master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Padova. Currently, I am thrilled to be a member of the COeXISTENCE team.

Michal Bujak

I am a graduate of the applied mathematics at the Jagiellonian University. During my studies, I focused mostly on the probability theory (master’s thesis on the construction of the Wiener process), statistics and graph theory (bachelor’s thesis on the equivalence of Konig’s and Hall’s theorems). Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in the technical computer science at the same university.
